The perfect cocktail to toast the Christmas season


1 bottle of champagne

1 1 cm piece of peeled ginger

200 ml pomegranate or cranberry juice

50 ml old rum

1 orange, thinly sliced

1 cup of pomegranates

1 cinnamon stick

4 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Ice cream


1. Moisten the rims of the glasses with pomegranate or lemon juice and dip them in the brown sugar.

2. Place the chopped ginger, cinnamon, rum, juice, honey and ice in a shaker and shake well.

3. Pour the drink from the shaker into the glasses and add the chilled champagne. If you like, add more ice.
